9/11 Anniversary Picnic, Laurelhurst Park, Sunday, September 7
Getting worn down by people who think you’re weird for wanting a criminal investigation of the mass murder committed on 9/11? Then come on out, meet up with your local 9/11 Truth community, and revive your soul. We will be having a picnic at Laurelhurst Park on Sunday, September 7, from 1 – 7 pm. We will have the usual “picnic” activities like frisbee, football, and a barbeque. We will also be doing some 9/11 outreach with other people in the park and the surrounding neighborhood. Plus, we will be making signs and preparing flyers for the upcoming protests and marches scheduled for Thursday, the 11th. The main “work” activities will be centered around 3 pm and the grill is expected to be fired up around 4. It’s a potluck so bring along your favorite meat or veggie for the grill and drinks to counteract the heat (beer and wine are okay). There will be a few spare hot dogs and beers for the taking if you get there early enough. Laurelhurst Park is in southeast Portland just south of Burnside St at Cesar Chavez Blvd. We will be at Picnic Area C, which is accessible from Oak St at the south end of the park, towards the east boundary at Cesar Chavez. Look for the canopy with hanging AE911Truth banners.
Street Action, Portland Pioneer Courthouse Square, Thursday, September 11
Come on out and help us protest the 9/11 cover-up and educate the remaining people of Portland who don’t already know that the official 9/11 story is a lie. Activists will be on the square from 10 – 7, easily recognized by our 9/11 signs and handouts. We will be discussing the 9/11 evidence with new people and asking those already familiar with the evidence to sign the AE911Truth petition for a new 9/11 investigation. Pioneer Courthouse Square is bordered, clockwise from the north, by SW Morrison St., 6th Ave., Yamhill St., and Broadway.
Free Video Screening, Portland Belmont Library, Saturday, September 13
Attend a free presentation of 9/11: Explosive Evidence – Experts Speak Out from Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth. The screening will be held at the Belmont Library, located at 1038 SE Cesar Chavez Blvd, Portland, from 1 – 3 pm. Free DVDs of the full 97-minute video will be handed out during the Q&A following the presentation. Bring along as many friends as you can who are new to the 9/11 evidence.
